Hi! I will be installing honeywell accenta mini alarm soon for the first time. Everything seems to be easy according to the installation manual. The only thing that concerns me is that I've put 6 core cable for 3 PIR and 2 door contacts to the main panel and in manual it showes that PIR have to be connected between one another on tamper circuit. Does it mean that I have to connect between all 3 PIR as well? It cant be true. Please help. thanks

you wire the alarm pair of each PIR into individual zones. then the tampers are all wired in series to form a single tamper loop. known as a global tamper. this is because the cheaper panels are designed that waqy. not a separate tamper circiut for each zone.

As tel says. If you use say yellow and green as your tamper wires. Just put yellow(pir1) in panel tamper, then green(pir1) to pir2 yellow, pir2 green to pir3 yellow etc until you have a green left to put in panel. The tamper switches in the pir etc make a series circuit.
