Best way to align these is to get a sheet of white paper in front of the emitter and follow the beam off in the direction it's going,often 1 or 2 degrees out in any direction will cause the beam to be about a foot out by the time you get to the reflector/reciever!!!!

many an operator believe that they are doing good by aligning them on their own.
usually making the job ten times worse.

they are very sensitive and usually the cause of a lot of control issues.

id love to have seen the bosses reaction if you told him you'll ring tech help Monday in the places I've worked!!!!
