Say I have a load of lights that require a cable size of 10mm through a contactor fused accordingly, what is the technique for tapping each individual light off this 10mm radial, what methods are available to tee off the circuit to each fitting. I assume a fused spur is required at each and every fitting.
It will depend to an extent on the size of the OCPD.
Is it 10mm because of volt drop or 10mm because of current?
And if it is current do the light fittings contain internal fuses or do you need to provide a fuse for each light? (Regs require lighting circuits above 10A to have fuses provided at each fitting)
And then there is the plain common sense requirement for a plug and socket arrangement for easy connect and disconnect and local isolation for re-lamping.
