lads doing a quote for a client and on it it mentions supplying manuals is this just descriptions of sockets , switches and lights and lamps etc .etc???
As fitted drawings (paper or electronic or both), equipment maintenance and installation instructions, Installation design information, Inspection reports / certificates (electrical, fire alarm, emergency lighting etc), information on accessories used (DB's, sockets ,switches etc)
Just depends how comprehensive a manual they require
It can depend on what type of install it is, if it is domestic then I would have thought a list of materials used and installed would be good enough along with a list of where they can obtain spares if necessary.
if you are installing commercial or industrial then again a list of materials / suppliers and any info that came with the fittings etc, a general block diagram of the mains distribution with dis boards, main incomer etc etc, circuit lists.
It can really depend on the architect as to how much or little you need to do. Its surprising how fat you can make an O & M manual look though with general chit chat on how to carry out repairs etc
Ring Binder from Tesco at £0.99 and clip in a copy of all the booklets that come with the kit. Finish it off with a copy of the EIC and designers plans. Job done and all you did was a little filing........
