Hi, just been to Aldi (Heartsease, Norwich) they have sets of 3, 1000mm sds plus masonary drill bits, size 12, 16, 20mm.

They may be rubbish?? but I bought a set, handy for drilling access down the back of skirting board etc.

£9.99 a set.

I also bought some carrots/broccolli and wine

I bet they're like the Silverline sets you can get. For the price you can't go wrong. I've got a set that are 4 years old and they've done plenty of holes through stone and are still going strong.

When I'm paying £50 for a 600mm/14mm Hilti, I dread to think what they would rush me for a 1000mm lol:33:

I've got cheap set too. As long as you dont expect them to drill through concrete they do the job. Horses for courses.

Have got a set also branded as JCB ones
had them about 6 years and still going strong
you cant go wrong for the mony

No need to worry mate I bought a set last year and used them a lot, they work and wear well.
