My thoughts too, with that logic, clipped direct cannot exist.But surely all clipped direct cables eventually go in to an enclosure

Think he means installing twin and earth buried in a wall then into the db would be considered reference method c clipped direct.Not between the head and meter they don't.

Hi Andy, yes similar nonsense heard once re domestic board with multiple final circuit mcbs (all correctly selected and installed) adding up to over 100A installed capacity. Does my head no good at all.He actually said it had to be 25mm because the cuu main switch is rated at 100A.
