Safe Zones around CU

I'm having a really blonde moment. Would one of you good people remind me what the safe zones are "around" a CU??

I'm thinking they are the same as "any" accessory - i.e. vertical and horizontal but somebody else says no!

Horizontally and vertically to the Consumer Unit, plus within 150mm horizontally at top of the wall or vertically within 150mm of the angle formed by two walls.

So if he doesn't like horizontal and vertical to the dimensions of the CU, what does he say is correct?
