I have a client who wants to install a kit on his house, yes i know its late in the day i can still manage it though
But he is asking me if he sells his property within 8 years who gets the feed in tariff after he sells, does the new owner get it at the of rate 43.3p plus RTI after 8 years
or does the new owner get it at whatever the feed in tariff is for that year.
IS the system eligible for FIT after the house is sold?

Hes trying to gauge how much value it would add when he sells the house

cheers furry
with all the uncertainty around the market he is worried that if he sells the house will the new owners get the tariff at the rate he had it at
Which as that excerpt states that the owner would pass on the deeds to the feed in tariff to the new owner

But the T&C's in the FIT state that the amounts payable can be changed at any time by the "Secretary of State" or words to that effect.
It's no different from state employees currently having pay freezes and pension cuts which most do not have sympathy for however this IS a breach of their employment T&C's.
As usual any sums paid out by any government (whichever party) cannot be guaranteed.
