I thought the concern with security though was while we allow women to wear them, men can hide under them hence the SAS giving it a bash.Dont think I said that Dan the thread was about women and Burkas and thats what I commented on.
Actually ISSIS have banned the burka for security reasons!!!! alegedly see ISIS bans the burka - http://www.news.com.au/world/middle-east/isis-bans-women-from-wearing-burkas-after-chiefs-attacked-by-veiled-assassins/news-story/5356534a06f3213389835f34281ecf80
I believe this was in responce to the SAS wearing them in a raid on an ISSIS bunker
see http://www.express.co.uk/news/world...s-raid-headquarters-Syria-Raqqa-jihadi-leader.
All above info from a rag is it true I dont know but its possible.

I didn't think the women wearing them actually did any harm per se, it was more to do with the possibility one day a man will wear one as a suicide bomber or whatever.
You forgive me Dan, being a bit old my memory fades from time to time. I seem to remember several such incidents you suggest, since suicide bombing started in the last two decades, but I may be wrong.To be fair to ISIS, not a single bomber so far has worn a burka have they lol?
And the guy on the beach with the guns hat shorts and a t-shirt on and not even any sun glasses (wants to watch that UV in the eye issue). Probably didn't have sun tan lotion on either.
Not here though, where the thread is about.You forgive me Dan, being a bit old my memory fades from time to time. I seem to remember several such incidents you suggest, since suicide bombing started in the last two decades, but I may be wrong.
I just googled 'Bombers dressed as woman' and got several hits;

And if your last sentence, was in reference to the attack in Tunisia, I think that is in poor taste.
Not sure I understand your reply?Not here though, where the thread is about.
In the U.K. Don't think anybody has done it here have they?Not sure I understand your reply?
Think the phrase is 'not if, when'. Your last sentence?In the U.K. Don't think anybody has done it here have they?
Well, you can only really go off what's been done already I guess. And nobody has worse burkas here or in France or local etcThink the phrase is 'not if, when'. Your last sentence?
Dan,
Look you said 'To be fair to ISIS, not a single bomber so far has worn a burka have they lol?' And that's not true. Point 1
Point 2 You said 'And the guy on the beach with the guns hat shorts and a t-shirt on and not even any sun glasses (wants to watch that UV in the eye issue). Probably didn't have sun tan lotion on either.' Which I said was in 'poor taste'.
Comment directly on these two points. If you have made a mistake, we are all fallible admit it. As an aside. your 'last scentence' would have probably resulted in a report from me to the mods, and you I think are the forum owner, so this should be addressed?
