I have a new TP pump install, the supply comes from a 80 amp switched fuse disconnector from the road straight from the supply tales via a 5 core 35mm. Into a specially built housing within which a controller with inbuilt isolator is situated. I was going to install a separate triple pole isolator before it went into this control kit.

But I don’t think it is necessary as the pump control gear has an inbuilt isolator for the entire panel. If i did install i would only be isolating 2 feet of cable between the incoming armoured and the pump control isolation into the box. Bad boy or reasonably and practicable boy?

The pumphouse might need lighting and general power so terminating to a small TPN board first might be a good idea?
