Hi folks, can anyone tell me how to get hold of the plastic flap for a Crabtree Starbreaker CU.
Have fitted one in a new build but the plasterers managed to break it! Don't want to have to replace the whole thing. Any ideas??

Nope..... Try electruim 01543 455000 or your normal wholesaler... Try saying it was broke when you got it :-D

Needed one myself 'bout a year ago. Couldn't get one without buying a new CU.

You should inform the plasterers you'll be billing them whatever - let us know about that too!

Unless plasterers have changed in the last few years, and become mellow chaps, I have a good feeling I know exacly what they will say and where you can send that bill.

heard yesterday that if you pee in a plasterers mix, it will go off faster than he can spread it. be prepared. next job, have a belly full of tea.

Lol that's a good old one, though if caught be prepared to find a steamie in your tool bag .....................

Small flask of hot water in there hardwall mix will also do it !

or a shovel full of sharp sand in the finish. some of em are really donuts. a job i,m on, they've skimmed all walls.joiner has come to fit skirting boards and there's a 2" gap from the bottom of the skim to the top of the skirting.

A couple of tablespoons of sugar in the mix will sort them. It’ll never set! It dries but remains soft.

Went to a job today (was there in January) and marked a couple of complex light switches with "DO NOT REMOVE".

Well they were not removed from site but placed neatly on the mantlepiece.

As you say what a doughnut.
