Hi everyone,

Has anybody seen these continental lamp holders that are 45mm diameter? Wanting to fit some standard lamp shades but obviously won't fit. Found these reducers 0A11 Continental Shade Adapter | The Lighting Superstore but these are to fit a 45mm lamp shade to a 28mm standard UK lamp holder. I need the opposite as the fittings in my Aunties flat are 45mm lamp holders with bigger energy saving lamps. Think we might just have to deal buy 28mm holders and swap them all.

Thanks

Just think about it for a minute and you'll see why it's not possible to make a reducer to fit a standard shade to the oversized lamp holder!
The easiest thing to do with them normally is buy new pendants and just swap the lamp holder and flex as a complete item.

I thought the exact same but didn't want it to come to swapping them all. Oh well have to buy some new lamp holders for 40 odd pence from Screwfix and new lamps.

Cheers
