I am having a garage suite built out for my agin inlaws and parents when they visit.
400sgft, 4500w h20, 1 appliance outlet (2-3 others in "kitchen area), 1 bathroom, 7 others, 6 regular recepitcal, and 10 light fixtures.

I have the load at about 60A and was going to place a 100a and feed it with #2. are these good starting points?

I will look to attack a diagram of the project.

MisterWilson welcome to the forum and yes you would need a 100 amp panel using three # 2 copper and one #6 equipment ground. That panel will probably never have 60 amps on at any given time. Good luck
