Hi,
I have a cluster pendant light with 6 cables hanging down and a small LED light at the bottom of each. I need to replace one or two of the cables to make them longer, does the cable have to match the spec of the others? i.e. if 0.5mm² has been used can I use 0.96mm² for the replacements or do they have to be 0.5mm as well?
The cable used is transparent 2 core, is there a way to identify what spec it is by counting the inner strands or something so I can order matching cable if this is necessary, and does the internal material e.g. copper/aluminium?
I'm trying to avoid having to rewire each individual pendant.

Thank you
