Simple question. When installing a dual supply CU for a customer with economy 7 will you now be installing SPDs on both supplies? Yes, the heaters are resistive loads but they also contain electronics.
 
Just the one SPD in the 24hr board if the boards are close together.

The SPD sits in parallel to the loads, so you could actually have the SPD in a separate third enclosure if you wanted to.
