Installation of Electric Storage Heaters

Hello. I am installing new storage heaters in a flat. I understand that they each need their own radial supply which goes back to the RCD protected E7 CU and they are each on their own MBC - probably 16amp. However, the heaters have an override switch for boosting during the day (not sure if this is just a fan or a separate convection heater). My question is this: do I need an additional circuit for the override boost or does an E7 CU work 24/7 but just has the cheaper electricity available in off peak (11-6)?

1) The eco7 consumer unit does not supply all day
2) RCD protection depends on how the cables are run
3) You don't necessarily need to run back to the board for each storage heater, although I prefer to
4) The overrides are usually built in fan heaters. If the overrides are over 3kw then they should be on their own circuit (which you may as well do as you're running back to the board) on the 24 hour side

Alternately run a circuit to each storage heater from the 24/7 board and then have the override heater on a switched spur and the storage heater on a timer. Pending max load, type of meter etc

I run two radial circuits from the consumer unit. One from daytime board, one from off peak. Simples ;-)

Thanks to you both. I did run two separate circuits in the end - as you both suggested. I am a sparky but have not been on the tools for quite a few years and so am a little rusty. I think I am going to be on this forum quite a lot in the coming months.
