Interview with local council still waiting !!!!

Hi all

Has any one had experience with applying for positions with the local council.It took them 4 weeks to inform me i have got through to interview fromclosing date , i then had interview over 4 weeks ago and still heard nothing even though there was only 5 going for the position !!! are they really that slow !!!! help

Hi Mike thanks for response i know alot of employers now days do not even bother to let you know but with the council i would have thought they would at least let me know either way

depends on what the application process was,some say if you havent heard say 5 weeks after interview then you have been unsuccessful

Hi Mate just give em a ring when you have had enough of waiting mate
most dont bother letting you know theses days as you say unless you have the job but unless you ring or contact them you may be waiting for an age
