Hi there,
Does anyone know the name of the 'shroud' that would go over a mains supply cable before entering the fused cutout, typically on a TNCS supply. This item is black, rubbery and 'Y' shaped to fit a 2 core cable. So far I have been able to find heat shrink tubing but I would like to find some sort of shroud to go over a 2 core 16mm SWA before it enters a private metering system that doesn't need to be heat shrunk. The supply is a TT system, therefore the steel wire is redundant but bonded at the other end. Thanks

Are you talking about cable breakout boots?
these are designed to seal around the cable fork so that the cable is protected this is why they are heat shrinkable.
I believe if you do not want heat shrink products then you would have to go for cold shrink breakout boots, but they do not come cheap.
These are pre expanded on a former that is removed and then allows the boot to close down onto the cable.
