HAD AN ISSIUE WERE THE MCB WAS TRIPPING WHEN TRYING TO OBTAIN ZS READING TESTED METER ON OTHER CIRCUTS ALL OK TRIED DIFFERENT TESTER STILL TRIPPING MCB WHEN CARRYING OUT TEST CIRCUT IS ON AND ALL HEALTHY WITH MARTINDALE PLUG IN TESTER GOING TO SWAP MCD OVER IN MORNING ANYONE HAD SIMILAR

not had this before if I'm honest had the rcbos tripping when the d lock isn't on the meter but not an mcb . circuit is on and healthy so no issue until you try and obtain a zs reading there is other items plugged in but cant see that causing any issues as it hasn't anywhere else. going to try and change breaker in morning

Change the breaker. Under normal use, the thing will trip way below it’s 32A rating.

does the switch not feel “soft” as you try to reset it?

the mcb was a 32amp merlin gerin supplying an office ring main yes there was kit plugged in why I was testing however this has never caused an issiue before. changed breaker and know I can get the zs without the mcb tripping strange never came across this before however all sorted
