If I was going to buy it from test meter I would get the Kewtech KT65 Accessory Bundle. I used to have some of those lighting adapters and they are good for freeing up an extra hand to make sure you have a good earth connection.

Man after my own heart!
Not bad the lufhtnings, i hear they respond nicely to a drop in kit.

What is your force mate? Got mine last year was really inpressed at the turn around of GMP, how come an escort? Still shoot my baikal more than the SP1!

Only shot it last Tuesday and it was shooting half inch groups over 25 yards after the first 10 pellets. Not bad at all. Can't wait to get back to the range tomorrow night.

I'm Durham constabulary, my uncle knows someone who knows someone and reckons applications are currently taking 12 weeks but we'll see. As for escort, simply because my mate it selling one for £250 (to me, more if it wasn't to me). I've shot it a few Times and quite like it, and think it would make a good introduction to shotgun ownership

I had a work colleague once, who shot everything with four legs. When he retired, all the little Bambi's came back to our workplace to graze. Isn't that sweet :)

I was reading yesterday that crows can remember a human's face for 2 years, so if you let a crow get away there's a good chance it'll remember you and warn off its mates in the future.

The crow and it's whole extended family are some of the most intelligent animals on the planet, let alone amongst just birds.

I once got given some shooting advice from a farmer though. Crows are clever, but they can't count. If 5 fellas with guns walk into a wood and three walk out, the crows don't reckon on the two left inside and return to their roosts.

I've seen videos of crows completing challenges in order to get some food. But yeah, I'd heard that about counting too.

I'll put it even more off thread now. There was a TV series in the late Seventies, James Burke Connections, with the inception of credit cards in the middle ages, leading to putting a man on the moon. There, derailed it again. :)

Back on crows. They are the only birds that fly for fun - you watch then in stormy weather - they love it! Crows are great!

Hi dude,i've owned Hatsan semi's in 12 and 20 guage,Turkish made,not bad,but i did end up making a new S/S firing pin for the 20 guage.
They are easy to strip and clean, which is a must for a S/A,but the most reliable semi's are usually Berrettas,300 series. My missus shoots a AL391 and it is boringly reliable :)

My 14 year old now needs ticketing up,as he seems to have a flair for the clays...

Make sure you get the tool kit with your Escort (giggerty),there should be a set of chokes + key,a magazine stop, and a tool for the mag tube.
If it is in good order, clean and bedded in,it should cycle 21 gram 12 G cartridges - happy shooting ;)

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be buying it off my mate so I know its exact history, and he will make sure it comes with all the bells and whistles. He just sent me a photo tonight actually of it in pieces - he's cleaning it up ready for a go at the clays on Sunday for me

I thought electrics had some terminology but wow - I am so lost with what you two are talking about that I'm not even going to google a couple of the words (which I normally would). Great to hear your passion.
