How's this for a means of earthing this steel conduit is acting as a tt arrangement, although brilliant ze readings, 6.41 ohms 34a. What do you all think to this.

Are you sure that's conduit?

The suppliers cables are installed within this containment, it's definitely not lead sheath

Looks like 1" conduit to me, not sure about the tt bit, does the conduit go underground? If so it'll no doubt be corroded as it's b/e, not a good idea at all!
How have you conducted your tests?

Just been thinking about this. At my Grandfathers farmhouse the electricity boards supply did enter the building as VIR’s in conduit. That was from the OH supply at the end of the building. It ran along the front of the house.

Not bad remembering that, I was seven when he died.

Disconnected main earth and carried out EFLI test on high current

Disconnect bond on that copper pipe and see what you get. lol Bet it won't be so good.

I stand by my last post no way is that conduit, just look at the tee off

Looks like 1" lug grip conduit to me, held to the wall with crampets. Can't see if the tee is an inspection type - it seems to have the outline of a cover. The stub above the tee seems to have a rubber female bush where cables used to exit.
