I'm going through the trusted members as some don't post anymore here, and some haven't posted new threads of their own much at all. And we had quite a few people dishing them out over the years and it seems some have got them who aren't really up to the tag in my eyes.

I've always seen the tag as special, so hard to get, one given go those who post lots of new good helpful threads and really hang out here just to do that.

So don't throw your dummy out of the pram if it gets taken off you. You can always earn it back, and let's be frank, you're all grown ups and it's just a coloured username on a virtual place on the virtual Internet and doesn't actually change your life.

We have to name ex members something and to be frank it seemed the most suited at the time.

Can't undo it now though eh, so, moving on! :-)

So how many new threads does someone have to start to get a coloured tag next to their name now?

There isn't a number. It'd go up for discussion between the staff and whatnot.

Adam as said it's not just about new threads started, it's about being generally helpful to other members and engaging in regular threads and debates. It is just a way for new members to recognise that someone with one is going to help them out an be approachable, it's a bit like being a Milk monitor at school

And you buddy. Truth be told I've been so busy the past year with work and my writing that the last thing I've wanted to do when home from work and I've just spent an hour writing is write about work haha. Plus it's mostly the same old questions again and again, which started to get a bit boring.

I'm sure I'll be around a bit more now though. Hopefully I can get my teeth stuck into something juicy!

When's the next topic on religion?! :tearsofjoy:

Who's frank? Nether seen him post anything. Nice to see you back D.S
