Suppliers fuse?

How do i go about finding out the size type of suppliers fuse/cutout without cutting their tags? is there any numbers i could ring , someone who would hold that info? Obviousley need that info to complete EIC!

Normally the type and rating are marked on the fuse carrier

you can trey DNO, but by the time you get put through to someone who knows what you're talking about, you will have used up all your credit on your mobile, only to be told " ain't got a clue, mate". best to enter N/V on your test results.

I think if you cant tell what it is you can put not verified if you don't want to cut tag etc

Maybe you should put "LIM" - thats what I do.

That's just the max rating Marnik, the fuse inside is often smaller (60A or 80A with carrier marked 100A) .... not that I've looked

or you could cut the tag and replace it afterwards. get a bag of lead meter seals and a pair of crimps.

I called in at my local depot today for some tags, "no problem mate, how many do you want?" even got the dno's logo on them.
