I own a 99 Honda hrv but would love to get a campervan.
How does one run the engine and associated electrics to provide 240v and 50 Hz for our appliances.
Schematics?Kits?

Camper vans generally have a leisure battery that can be connected to a power inverter to supply the 240V needed.
However they do have limited life and the battery will need frequent charging, this should be standard integration to the vehicle charging for a camper van.
You normally want to get an invertor that produces a sine wave output rather than a square wave as this is better for electronics equipment.
Lots of camping and caravaning websites have power invertors available, you just need to size the invertor to be able to power the combined total of appliances you wish to run and ensure that the leisure battery has enough capacity to supply power for the period needed.
