Hi all,
Have just shelled out £30 odd quid for a couple of BRE 'leaflets' for my MCS inspection, and have just found out that the following documents are going to cost me over £500,EN ISO 14713
rotection against corrosion of iron and steel structures, EN ISO 10088-1-Stainless steels, and EN 12975-2-Thermal solar sysyems and components. I can't even find a document G59/1 anywhere, does anybody know how to get hold of this one.
I have tried e-mailing the library on getting access to these documents, to keep the assessor happy, but they've proved to be as much use as a one legged man in an --- kicking contest, and have said they have no access to these technical documents.
I think these prices are shocking, and I'm sure the NICEIC know about this, I think they should have all these documents on their website, accessible by members only.
Is there any way of getting around this extortion, or am I going to have to bite the bullet?
One more question,is it correct anybody applying for FIT application has to have an EPC certificate of 'D' or above, and when does the declaration and FIT applcation need to be submitted, before or after the system has been installed.
