Hi I came across forum on the App Store.

I'm an electrician from Scotland currently employed by a company. Been time served for two years and looking to get my approved shortly

Are any of use employed but also self employed outside of work ifthat makes sense? Basically so you can do jobs but sign them off (issue certs)

don't want to take the risk incase it falls flat on its bum in current climates by going out on my own

Any advice or thoughts welcome please

welcome to the forum

regards self employed outside employment no problem if you are feeling guilty about taking work off your company try to pick the ones they would not do to begin with

I would like to sign the work off I do outside of my job? But looking for opinions on if I should just take the leap and go for it on my own or go self employed but keep my current job going just now.

there,s no problem with that any body can have more than one job

get youself registered and go for it

although most people are not happy with part P it,s widely regarded as a scam basically to allow our foreign friends to do work with no registration and get away with it but make us pay
