can you tell me what certificate i need to give to the customer after changing there consumer unit and the extent of the test that i do ??
What if things are wrong with the installation when you doing the test ? Got elecsa 1st inspection tommorrow and had fuse board change but results not the best ??
Any info will really help

Cheers lads

Extent of the tests: You must test every circuit in order to fill out the schedule of test results. ie:
r1, rn, r2 for rings
R1+R2 or R2 for all ccts
IR, Zs and polarity
These should all be done before you start replacing the existing board.
RCD tests once the new board is in.

Good luck with your assessment, but frankly I'm a tad surprised you are unsure about which cert to issue,is this the first job you have done?

Well as stated, you need to provide a full EIC with the results that are required in the schedule of tests.
Make sure your bonding is up to scratch as well.
