Also out of curiosity I wonder what/how the like of @Megawatt would price for this, given it is very common in the USA to use EMT?
Yeah... but isn't EMT alot thinner ? easier to work ?

Couple of questions, what protection class does this Galvanised conduit have to achieve?

Is flexible Galvanised conduit acceptable? (much cheaper)
I assume the question Re. Protection class isn't aimed at me.

Flexible conduit is a different table, if the pricing is for galv then that's what you fit!

We have this a lot, our tender request is for tray, they price on tray, try to fit basket!!

Big fallout with contractors when they try to deliver something other than their tender...
 
Questions where for the OP, as they have not given that information.

Sub-contractors trying it on with something other than the specification or quote is a fact of life on commercial installs, that's why PQS's were born or are they hatched. ?
