Hi all, Anybody knows are there some cheper alternatives out there? With croco clips and all. The original ones are £30 and they dont really last. Thanks!

try ebay.

Get used to the reality of replacing test leads.

My Metrel has two types, they last about 12 months and they cost about £70 to replace!

Don't try and hang on to old ones - in my experience they can give out rather unreliable and misleading readings!

The GS38 leads with 4mm banana plugs, are widely available, Kewtech are probably the best currently available. The BS1363 loop lead with the 'Megger special' 3pin plug, is unfortunately manufacturer specific as far as I am aware. Does anybody know which manufacturer makes/supplies this type of plug to Megger, LEM and others.
