Discuss Removal of potential asbestos fuse board - who and estimated cost? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Anyone know how big a job it is to get this sort of thing modernised? How much downtime is needed with no electricity?
To swap out the service head will leave you without electricity for about an hour, the last couple I have had the DNO out for the job has been completed in a couple of hours from them arriving on site to putting their tools back in the van
