We have been asked to do a job in republic of ireland, its a shop that needs the fire alarm testing, emergency lighting, pat testing and pir. But i understand the south of ireland has its own standards so completing certs via napit will count for nothing? Anyone know if this is the case or whos best to contact to find this out?

You either need to be registered with RECI or ECSSA to certify work in the Republic of Ireland. As you say NAPIT will not be acceptable.

Certificates will have to be RECI or ECSSA. The work will have to be to ET 101 and not BS 7671.

What area in Ireland is the job ? Theres a few members on here from Ireland, maybe one of the local guys can help
