Hey fellas

Just started a rewire on an old house, now there is a sink in one of the bedrooms which is going to be kept but the customer wants a socket quite near. I have been through the regs but can't find anything which states about zones in a room with just a sink, Special installation of locations yes but all zone markings are from either a bath or shower.

Anyone got any ideas on this one.

Thanks

300mm from sink is a good starting point. as you say, it's not a special location.

Keep it out of zone 2

arghh misread I was thinking basin...ignore...

Common sense prevails - keep it at least 600mm away or more if possible and as you're on a rewire that should be easy to arrange.

Part-P did say 300mm, whether its changed or not recently i don't know...i stand to be corrected.
