i have been asked to install 10 sockets and 12 spotlights above a cafe which has been derilict for years, what the dude has done is plasterboarded one room and hall in this derilict building above his cafe.. he said i can surface mount the sockets and the spotlights i can rip up floor above to do spotlights , no problem. also at the back of his cafe he had a 20ft container unit to make kitchen bigger and has now built round it and left in place. just the way it is.. he wants an office now(above)..

heres what i propose to do, use 40A breaker in cu , 6mm t&e surface mounted to new 4 way board with 63A 30mA main switch with 2x20A raidials and 6A lighting circuit.

the run isnt long for distribution circuit or radials and reason im using 2 radials in small space is it will save on bending conduit all around room and over the top of a fireplace... just think is best.....

any flaws in my plan, my onlky one is maybe run distribution in 10mm2, and dont worry about surface mounted cable as is the best way. the cafe is the dogs b. looks well but when you go out back trunking and cables everywhere... thanks if you read and if you like i might write a book for yous

What wholesalers did you go to?

Are you buying on account? You may find some wholesalers will sting you a little if you are not an account holder.
