Can't post in diy forum? So posting here Apologies if wrong place.

Getting a new 21x9 shed to replace existing one and looking to add additional lighting / sockets to it. Just trying to prepare myself / understand what will be required before going ahead with it. Please see attached pic which shows current layout and proposed layout.

There has already been a tumble dryer, fridge, freezer & treadmill out there. As well as the usual charging the odd battery gun, extension for lawn mower / power washer. So I don't expect and increased draw. Can you see any problems with changing from 2 double sockets to 4 and increasing the lighting ?

Thanks

I think a CU in the shed is the way to go. Do you have RCD protection?

That's the plan. It was a spark that did the first installation, I'm just nosey !

And also wanting to work out possible costs
Too many variables....... only a first hand look and a discussion with you could answer that.

No probs. Suppose I was just coming from the angle that really there is no change from the original set up. I am considering adding 2 permanent sockets where before I had extension cables off the sockets to provide extra power outlets.

And 2 lights, can't imagine this would have a huge bearing on power, given that it previously I had tumble dryer fridge freezer treadmill George Foreman grill etc (man cave !)

all depends on whether the armoured feed is man enough to handle the load. as long as it's correctly protected, then any overload would trip the breaker before the cablre overheated.

Its been man enough for 10 years, I'm not changing anything out there other than replace extension cable with double sockets as part of radial circuit
