Ive been aware of said systems before but they have never really been cost effective but we are a few yrs down the line now and millions been pumped into renewable energy could make a system viable as a alternative--- really feedback is what im after or opinions, i wouldn't want to premote it to a customer without checking the views of others.

They basically work like an inverted fridge compressing refridgerent gas which heats it up i assume it dumps this heat in the water before been sent to the panels where it condenses, this tries to reclaim the heat its lost which is taken out of the atmosphere (2nd law of thermodynamics) and then cycled through the system again. the concept has been freezing out food for decades in a inverted manor, but claims it works in all weathers even down to -15 etc while still delivering is what i want confirming i could see this working in theory because if the refridgerent is say -20 it will still absorb heat out of the atmospere even if air temp was -15.
If it hold up to its claims its a more efficient, cheaper and better/quicker returns than any domestic solar panel install IMHO

I'm on site with a guy tomorrow who, whilst masquerading as a plumber/heating engineer, also is a top boffin in renewables and lectures on the subject. If I get a chance (and tbh remember!) I'll ask him.
