Just watching this...

Tell me,

Spain is a lovely country, and i can understand why us brits want to move there.

However, what with all the problems over the last few years with dodgy buildings and land grab issues etc, why do people still insist on moving there, only to find, a few years later, a catalogue of disasters?

Enlighten me.

maybe to get guaranteed sun in summer. perhaps mayfair can throw more light on the subject.

Blind optimism, sun, sea and sangria (or dodgy cold lagers). I think it boils down to the old "grass is always greener" philosophy. It's always been a brit "go to" destination for hols and they think life would be as good as the holiday I guess.
