Can I get away with this?
Did a board change and left two economy seven heaters RCD unprotected. Power supplying them doesn't come on until 00:00-06:00. Just two radials each rated at 16a?

If the installation came under reg 522.6.5 or 522.6.6 in a domestic installation then I'm afraid you need to RCD them as the owner would have to prove he is a skilled or instructed person. If he can prove he is then you may get away with not fitting a RCD

Highly unlikely, though you can argue that your that skilled or instructed person, they will maintain that it is a domestic situation and therfore use reg 522.6.6. As it's an assement do what is wise and give them what they want RCD/RCBO protection
