Just going through our risk assessment checks etc.
1. Has anybody else experienced the poor quality of scaffolders ladders that they provide?
2. What in general do you do to provide edge protection against a gable edge? - from what I can see from HSE if you are working within 2 meters of the gable / edge protection needs to be provided including toe boards etc.. - leading you towards around building scaffold. I've seen and used the standard approach of wobbly rails up the roof but judging by HSE this is not adequate.
