Hi, hopefully someone can help me, I'm trying to find out if its possible to remove the 4kw system I had fitted on my bungalow to have the roof re-tiled then put back on. Iv also been looking at the idea of flushing the panels into the roof using the renusole kit.
If I was to have this work done would I need to inform anyone and would it have any affect on my FIT payments. Also would this work need to be carried out by the original installer or any pv installer or could me as I'm a sparky and my roofer do it.
( before anyone says should of changed the tiles first I didn't enough before they dropped the FIT rate )

cheers Dal

Can change them no problem. I would check with installer wether it will effect there workmanship warranty that they provide, as for dropping panels into roof, in my humble opinion it's a bad move the more hotter a panel becomes the less efficient it becomes, stick them on roof and allow a nice flow of air to increase kwh ! Plus I don't trust in roof heard of a few leaks!
