Hi, I've been asked to replace some 2 gang sockets for a person who is disbled and has lost their strength in their hands and would like sockets with easy to press switches. Can anyone recommend a make that is suitable. I've searched for Part M switches but they seem to be just grey sockets for the poor sighted with outboard switches.

Many thanks

You could consider remote control ones or a foot switch

Thanks for the reply, I don't think this would be suitable as the person has MS, the switches on the sockets need to be easy to switch.

Hi,

Unless you use unswitched sockets, there may not be much you can do unless you add something inline. A lot of the voice (alexa, apple, googge) activated switches have small push buttons on them to overide the voice function. I beleive you can use them without setting up the voice switching. Although, if the client had a device they could link, it could be a much better solution for them overall.
