I have to say I was impressed with the improvement on these LED fittings from just a few years back.
I will be honest though, its the 1st time I have seriously considered them as a viable alternative to tubed fittings.
The ones I looked at are fully compliant with LG3 and 7 requirements for office use.
Also color temps and lux levels were up to spec.
Anyone taken the plunge as from a running cost perspective and low maintenance they seem ideal.
35000 hours 5 year guarantees cant see why not ??

just replaced 4 twin 5 ft flourescent fittings on a ceiling grid and installed 4 40 led panels cool white and the led panels not only look way better than the vapour proof fittings but were twice as bright so led all the way for me , also just tried a Deltec 6ft fitting fantastic blew the backside off the twin 5 ft it replaced http://www.google.co.uk/aclk?sa=l&a...shopping&utm_campaign=merchant_centre&cad=rja

i replaced 22 1200 recessed florries ( 4 x 4' tubes each) with 600x600 LED panels, 1 for 1, (3400 lumens) in a Spar shop. client reports light is better than the florries.

put 2 1200 x 300 led panels in my kitchen wife and kids were walking round with sun glasses on, had to change them back to the old 28 watt 2D's as they were to bright

Looks like the technology is finally getting there.
Checked them out about 4-5 years ago but they were rubbish back then, as said the latest stuff seems to be a vast improvement.

light rabbit have offers on them at the moment.
