Afternoon chaps

looked at a new kitchen/dining extension to 1st and 2nd fix

lighting to go through joists and p/boarded over as usually

power (+grid switching) and cooker + hob to go floor level then clipped up block (then dot+dabbed over)

floor to have celotex insulation, wet ufh then screed- so thinking about my protection to cables underneath!

run 25mm pvt conduit around the edges? saddled to the concrete?

then what when I get to where a socket is going? bend it up the wall past screed level- then just clip/cap up to the socket

use of through boxes and bends etc recommended etc?

any advise/tips would be appreciated

Why cant you wire from above if its extension? Then your not going to have to use containment (quicker and cheaper) plus the added benefits of not having to factor in insulation/ambient temp due to the UFH.

was just the new steel runs directly down middle- so passing that is little tricky- but could get behind it where it meets back of existing house

will need to pipe under screed for island cooker and hob though- so do you normally saddle to floor then bend it at wall up past screed level then clip/cap to block?

I normally use a bit of steel conduit, drill a hole with a 5.5mm bit and bang crampets in as it doesn't have to look pretty.

that bits fine- but what about from floor level up past screed finish level? bend the conduit and continue up slightly?
Yeah or stop end box with lid, drill a 20mm hole in the lid and come off it in a bit of Kopex.
