4000TL Event log

I have just checked the event log on my 4000TL and this event occurs about twice a week. usually in the morning about 15 mins before feed in or evening 15 mins after feed in.


DC grid feed-in (601)

Grid Fault The internal monitoring function of the inverter has detected an
excessively high proportion of direct current in the grid current.
The inverter disconnects itself from the power distribution grid.
Corrective measures:
• Check the grid connection for direct current.
• If this event occurs often, check with the distribution grid
operator whether it is possible to raise the limiting value of
monitoring.

Is this something I should be worried about?
Grid Fault?
Faulty Appliance?
Faulty Inverter?
Installation Problem?

not massively, unlikely, doubtful, possibly, possibly. Contact your installer.

If you use sunny explorer IIRC you can see the DC fault current readings.

If it's not the inverter, I wonder if your installer has done something a bit odd with the bonding of the frame?

I have no idea if they even have bonded the arrays.

I did see what looks like a wire between rails in a photo.

The only wires I can see entering the loft are the 4mm DC.

This is not an overvoltage issue. The inverter is detecting DC
In the grid current.
