approved competence assessment scotland

hi guys i'm new to this forum so nice to be here. i'm an electrician in scotland and i passed my fica in 2005 and i have not yet done my approved competence assessment. i have been working as a self employed spark for the past 2-3 years and now i want to get my approved. has anyone done this recently in scotland and if so are there any refresher courses that can be taken, such as inspection and testing. any advice or help would be great

hi donny, how did you get on with test?. just found your post on google when looking for info on aca test. got mine on monday and dont know what to expect !. do you have any pointers or useful info learned from you experience. any 'trip wires' as such.
