Looking for some help / advice on how best to route some SWA cable over a track.

I’m running SWA to some land at the rear of our property however I have a single track to go over. Burial is not an option and others have erected timber posts to send the cable up and over. I was going to use some scaffold tubes as posts but wanted to know if this was safe with potential lightning strikes?

Would timber be safer?

I’m thinking id get more longevity out of scaff tubes.

Any help would be appreciated

This all sounds a bit heath robinson erecting some posts and sending a cable over a track that is not part of your land and I do think you need to check out the legality of what you are proposing as to whether you need a wayleave
