Georgan Town houses.

Anybody worked on these? I have been asked to price up putting in some EM lights in 2 houses. Ther in Edinburgh city centre and are being used as ofices. all fully carpeted and very nice decoration and plaster work. the cables are in the walls and i have a suspition its listed. any ideas?

mmm check the "listing" I think it may only be on the structure possibly only the frontage and not the internals as I worked on 3 being reveresed from offices to flatsand a house/office a few years back cant remember any "Conditions" on interior works but we had a bother when the wummin wanted a gas fire in the diningroom they wouldnt let the flu go where it was required

Btw Check out parking restrictions and times in Edinburgh its dearer than glasgow and the wardens are invisable WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH n u got a ticket and dont book job during festival period as "New toen " part is horendus for parking

I think you will find when a building is listed it also means the internals as well doors, covings, decor that is why they are listed to stop people from destroying the periodic features of the building.

its grade b listed to touching of cournice, mouldings, or any of teh feature woodwork so pritty much everything. Job can be done just a right royal pain.
