Hello everybody!
Been lurking for a while and was going to post for the first time so thought I'd introduce myself first.
Been looking after my twin girls for 3 years and after thinking about retraining for as long as that decided to give the Domestic Installer a go. I'm not after a quick fix career change but as I have a rental property to re-wire in future, a new house to bring up-to-date when I move next month and the likelyhood of developing a property in the next 2 years, it seemed to make sense.
Completed Part P 6-7 weeks ago and enjoyed it. Realised that although it taught basics, large gaps and inexperience mean that rushing into charging for work is unlikely. Had thought I'd rewire my current house but as we've sold I've decided to leave well alone. I do have another friend renovating a house who has offered it for practice so I've started messing around on that.
Anyway life story over. Expect some dumb questions!
