Hi

I'm interested to know what the relationship is between the two scales on these graphs; AC Watts generated and DV Volts. This is the last two days output from our 20 panel 4kw installation.

Can anyone explain it in plain English? :)

I'm not sure what DV stands for - but presumably this is the DC voltage from the panels. There are two lines so I would assume you have two strings of panels.

The power output (AC Watt) would be the voltage of string 1 multiplied by the current of string 1 plus the voltage of string 2 multiplied by the current of string 2 adjusted for the efficiency of the inverter.

The inverter will adjust the voltage of the panels during the day to maximise the energy produced.
