small shop has one 2.5kw storage heater on one off peakcircuit via fcu however the shop only opens five days a week so are asking for a timer (7 day) so they can save heating an empty shop when not open.If i put a timer on off peak circuit it will stop at 8 in morning . Any ideas?

Install a 7 day timer, and match the timings or full 24hours during 5 day opening, and switch off at weekends.

Just to add, the timer will need to be run off normal cu to keep it running, and would suggest a contactor to control the storage heater

Use a 7 day timer with contacts which are separate from the timer supply. Run the timer off the continuous supply (suitably fused). Route the heater supply through the timer contacts.

Used the standard cu to power the timer and contactor......then contactor controls heater..
