Shower isolator

Hey my learned friends.
could anyone point me in the right direction of a regulation that would go against putting a shower isolator near the mains and not in or just outside the bathroom.. Is there a reg or is it just good working practice?
ive looked at this thread but I need regs...

i think it just says "a device for emergency switching shall be placed and durably marked so as to be readily identifiable and convenient for the intended use" 537.4.2.7

plus electricians guide to building regs says that " the switch must be installed outside zones 0, 1 and 2, although the corded type may reach in these zones"

As above but outside 1.2m from a fixed showerhead. I only remember that bit when i got done being 6 inches inside it a few years ago on an inspection. lol
